    I mean, if I was in hardware manufacturing and looking for someone to build my chip, I’d be giving Intel a shitload of side-eye these days. They are in the throes of a two-generation-long lithography and microcode deficiency saga, in the event you have missed recent news on that front. They have oxidation issues in their process, and they’re trying to get out of RMAing as much as possible. It’s really bad, in both the consumer and enterprise context. As in: some specialized cloud suppliers are looking to pivot entirely to AMD as a result of how Intel is handling the whole thing.
