It is woefully inadequate to run the modern United States. Its biggest shortcoming, ironically, is the absolute inability of government to properly and deftly respond to the very success that it’s principles have brought to it.

None of it’s going to get done until everybody is so miserable that they no longer have anything tribal on their stupid, small minds. There’s going to have to be real pain, like starvation and suffering going on before real change is going to be able to be effected because people are still fat and happy enough to sit around and guffaw while Trump owns the libs, even as the cost of everything around them doubles.
