He doesn’t even have any remorse for this you can tell by his statement.

He doesn’t even have any remorse for this you can tell by his statement.

This is a statement from a court case though.
When called to court to testify coroners do absolutely give their opinion about the deaths.
Also reminds me of Gary Webb’s coronor saying there is a “distinct possibility” that someone could shoot themselves twice in the head. And he wasn’t even in court

Ahhh I understand. So it is the actual usuage of words in a specific order?
Well paraphrasing would probably solve this problem then wouldn’t it? Just paraphrase every line or paragraph saying the same thing but with different words
I was thinking it was an embedded watermark and if you just opened a text file and typed it all out on your own then it wouldn’t flag it

Losing bot followers is not the same as losing money and your livelihood I hope you can understand the difference between the two.

So they do sync it up to make me hit every single red light if I’m running late for work in the morning and speeding! /s
I bet it would be hard being a paranoid schizophrenic right now in this surveillance state that’s being manufactured.
Or maybe its liberating since it would all be true “See, I told you the television was listening to our conversations! Here’s an article about it in The NYT”
Wait until these kind of metrics of “rewardable” and “punishable” drivers shows up on your car insurance rates.
There’s always a dollar to be made with all this data they are harvesting and this is just a small beginning of a series of steps that are playing out far faster than I had ever dreamed they would.
Edit: you know I just thought about how it said begins rewarding drivers. That means they had to test this out for at the very least several months of getting all the data of “bad” and “good” drivers.
I seriously wonder what else they’ve tested out like that with traffic and whatnot. Mixed in with the surveillance in new vehicles 2027 and onward and this is going to get pretty wild

Lol “that one company that’s worth millions of dollars that you remember from your teen years did just fine after they left that website and bought another company that was worth millions with a name we all recognized since our early 20’s! If they can do it, why can’t you??” You also gloss over the fact that they relied on Facebook and Twitter to get the recognition they ever got in the first place.
Come on now. Surely you understand if you’re selling wooden bowls you carve yourself or a local lawn care company and need to have the largest presence for that Facebook and twitter are virtually the only way. Sure there’s radio and building your own website but all that costs money and time. If you don’t have that you are forced to use Facebook and Twitter.
Unless you like running a business that performs poorly compared to the competitors around you, that is. That is still an option!
I hate twitter and Facebook and reddit and all that shit too its a privacy nightmare but everyone acting like you can do just fine with a business without that without having astronomical cost increases and headaches along the way is lying to themselves and everyone else around them.
I want everyone to leave too but acting like a pompous ass about it and saying “you have no excuse not to succeed without the tools others around you succeeding are using!” Isn’t the way to do it.

I’m usually not one for control but I like this and its a positive decision.
Still think they should let 18 year olds smoke again though.

On the website it says the data only goes back to December 2025

Would copying it in a text file not work? I mean Christ they are already skipping out on all the work they can’t even copy it?
Its like asking the kid in class to copy his homework and then handing him a pencil and paper so he can copy it for you

Oh, could they be?

When’s the last time you used Kagi? I alternate between that and DDG and dude Kagi is probably the best one I have ever tried. Better than google even.

That Michael Smith dude got 5 years in prison for his AI music scheme.

I bet they can’t shoot targets for shit.

This is a techspot link with no paywall for me. Did they change it?

“This is intended to handle the increase of calls that are related to one incident, so callers get automatically routed to an AI agent who asks if they are calling regarding the incident. If the answer is yes, then callers can receive information or updates, and if it’s no, then the callers are transferred to a human.”
Imagine being in a life or death situation or delerious and having to now decode what the AI is asking you about whether or not this is “regarding the incident”?
How does that even work? Is it gonna be like " oh hey, is this about the rape at 100 Rfucked Lane?"
More likely “we noticed you said that this is about a wreck. We’ve determined that this is about the same wreck we are already getting calls about (because no way two or more wrecks would occur on the highway the same day) so please go ahead and leave any new information here!” And its just a robot.
Imagine trying to whisper that you are in immediate danger and some AI is like “I didn’t catch that, could you please speak up” forcing you to talk full volume into the phone. Or, maybe you’re screaming too loud where a human can make sense of it but an AI is just hallucinating what it thinks you’re saying.
It’s a horrible idea and 20 years ago I would say I am shocked but not anymore. They don’t care about us.

The Farquuad meme
“Some if you may die, but its a sacrifice I am willing to make”

This is borderline outright responsible for murder. Maybe not exactly but so close its hard to tell it apart.

Have these people never used AI on phones before? Its horrible. Worse than horrible.
Wow. This was a really bad decision. I can’t imagine how many people are going to die from this

Yeah for real Nintendo fucking sues people for sharing game music that they didn’t even sell to the public at the time.
Sues people for making fanart and crap too.
But there’s nothing they can do about this. They just can’t seem to figure out a solution!
They (say they are) are worried about national security. Like they don’t want it being able to somehow map all military bases or whatever.
That’s really a tall tale they are trying to sell though.
They don’t want a cheap competitor in the American markets and they don’t have a guarantee that Chinese companies will hand over data on a whim the way they can force American manufacturers to do.
