My experience is much the same as yours. The Linux community is usually a bit agressive everywhere. I have been banned for questioning things as well. Still, I’d never go back to mainstream social media platforms.

I was always under the impression they were bullfrogs too. They are very close. Both green frogs and bullfrogs are in the same genus Lithobates. If it sounds like a loose banjo string it’s a green frog.

That might be a Green Frog actually. It looks like it has dorsolateral ridges running down its back. Bullfrogs don’t have those.

I’ve only ever seen one once, but it was unforgettable. Fun fact, they have reduced mouthparts and don’t consume any food in this state. They live only for a week. Just enough time to find a mate and procreation.
