Former President Trump’s campaign raised nearly $139 million in July, it announced Thursday, following a tumultuous few weeks of the election season.

Trump and its authorized committees raised $138.7 million last month, which brings its total cash on hand to $327 million, the campaign announced. The announcement said the latest numbers “reflect continued momentum with donors at every level and provide the resources for the final 96 days until victory November 5th.”

Harris’s campaign said it raised $200 million in just the first week of her campaign as Democrats rallied behind her and enthusiasm grew among voters. Her campaign also said it signed up more than 170,000 volunteers in the first week.

Of course, nobody believes this, but even if true, the difference is a few wealthy donors throwing money at a GOP campaign versus millions of people donating to Harris’ campaign.

The duopoly is backed by the owner-class; there is no need to make it seem like one or the other is not being funded by major PACS and millions of supporters.

They both bring people to their rallies, from what I have seen on other social media.

There’s a very clear distinction to be made, actually.

GOP campaign overwhelmingly backed by a small number of wealthy donors and corporations who seek to elect a candidate to pass laws that fuck over the populace.

        VS

DNC campaign overwhelmingly funded by the populace who seek to elect a candidate who wants to empower the populace and undo the horrible shit that has been handed to them in recent years.

One is not like the other.

What is this, a race for the biggest cash prize?

It’s beginning to look like a situation where the literal amount in the campaign chest is a deciding factor for the white house win, instead of an actual political campaign or the person running as candidate…

The emphasis definitely is on money these days.
