Also the system selects for mental illness so a lot of the worst offenders here literally can’t feel empathy.

Definitely gonna be restrictive contracts so manufacturers can’t sell both and forced advertising for Microsoft services like Google does with Android OEMs.

This is the real crux of the issue. Data collection and algorithmic incentives are destroying society.

Self host, takes less time then you think after the initial library build. Easy to do in a weekend. If you have some money to spend on music then buy music from the artists you love. Can all be in one place, none of this exclusive garbage, quality as high as you want, can rip music that’s never been released digitally, and I think most importantly - access to your music library without an algorithm telling you what to listen to. You’ll be surprised how your listening habits change and how well you know your music after jumping off the engagement treadmill.

There are a LOT of people out there who honestly have no idea that a website is capable of collecting data. Maybe even the majority. The fact these numbers are not higher is due to most people sticking with defaults rather than them making a privacy decision.

If I steal someone else’s song and put my name on it nobody reasonable would say I made it.
This whole AI-art fucktrain is entirely propped up by people who never made art before suddenly thinking they know something.

AI isn’t replacing monotonous jobs though. It’s being used as an excuse to cut good skilled labor for c-suite parasites. And it can’t even do those jobs as well. Garbage take.

Like Tux but with cool sunglasses and cigarettes.

They’ve done far more than you have so far. And maybe because of it some bees will still be around to benefit when people “stop burning the planet to the ground”. Turns out both ecology and environmentalism is more than performative statements.

What’s your psychology background?

Everything about a Tesla interior is cost-savings masquerading as innovation. Actually most of these touch screen focused modern cars. It’s cheaper to produce than tactile buttons.

People are naive to think there aren’t also thousands of bots here in the Fediverse.

Sorry, I meant for the Fairphone refusing their help part. I haven’t read that and find it interesting. Thanks anyway! I’m optimistic about Moto.

Is there a source available for that?

I mean you’re memorizing a GUI as well. I don’t work in this field at all but docker compose files are pretty straightforward even for me. Took like 15 minutes to figure out and now it’s much quicker to get set up than any other option.

Normal people fantasize about winning the lottery and having a few million mostly so that they can stop participating in the rat race, quit their job, have more time for creativity, have more time for family, have more time to be human. The fact that these people blow past that, and continue to want to hoard wealth shows how sick they actually are. If they were hoarding literally anything else nobody would question it. They do not work harder than everyone else.

I’m not clicking the link to read this but these sort of headlines are often a result of their survey intentionally wording things like this to spin the narrative. Anyone who does in fact want it banned immediately would still say yes to the question. I’d suspect there are many such folks across Europe.
Only as useful as your input and depends on the impedance of your headphones. I disagree, I think it makes a huge difference depending on setup. Everyone’s hearing sensitivity is different though. I do think people should try to hear for themselves before jumping to but anything.
Will sound better too. A cheap FIIO or even Apple dongle sounds noticeably better, more power delivered.
I’m ok without the jack I think unless they’re going to also pair it with a high quality internal DAC like Sony.
Even better if the think tanks had to state their funding sources by human name in the title.
