"My generation will fix it when we’re in charge”.
Except my generation hasn’t had a chance yet to prove that they will. My generation is fucked.

The momentum was never there because we were all busy following the boomer path of trying to go to college to make aoemthing of ourselves and ended up in college debt for life and then got shat on, by the very people who raised us to take that path in good faith hoping it would work out the same for us as it did them but it fucking didn’t.
It’s 50/50 here ya know. Like we all had the chance to not do what they said to do or go against the paths we were raised to follow and do our own thing. They also failed to see the absolute state of the changing world and only focused on what benefits them.

Lmfao, here comes manufactures selling their own versions of Debian and Fedora. I bet we’re going to see a rush of manufacturers selling blank no OS PC’s with hardware being the only added on cost.

and how many to cool a house and how much power does each draw.
Based on power consumption and practicality:
Well obviously it would take more a.c.'s to cool a house but again it depends on needs. If the house was a single floor unit it wouldn’t need a mini split. It could use a window a.c. which can be 120v; mini splits are 220v-240v. It’s probably a little more on volts but that’s if both are ran at the same time. If you’re in a main room while the main bed room AC is off you’re not consuming twice as much power.
But the more cassettes with mini splits the more power you draw, the more you have them on the more energy you’re consuming regardless.
So if you have two cassettes running 4 units, you’re running 2 zones per cassette at 220v-240v each cassette plus the refrigerant, plus the amount of time on which can get to over 1,000w each easily. How they make it cost effective, idk. Maybe city programs but they cost 4 times as much as my window ac, the unit not the amount of money to run them.
I’m only going to use my AC 4 months out of the year, if that. It doesn’t seem worth drilling into my house for 4 months out of the year.
In my honest opinion, I believe you can lower power consumption by not using an ac as much and by not having as many but you gotta do it right based on living needs otherwise you’re gonna have a heat stroke.

You don’t need to cool an entire house unless you have a family or pets and even still you can get away with using a 24" pedestal fan with using the AC you can cool an additional 900 sq ft on top of what the ac is providing in the living room.
I mean yeah a mini split is the modern option but not everyone wants to drill into their homes.
It’s all about needs vs generalizations. I don’t need to cool every room in my house and I can get away with using one whirlpool brand window ac in my living room and sending the cool air through my house with a penguin pedestal fan from Ocean State job lot.
Yeah it sucks having to put it in the window every year and it sucks bringing the fan down and walking by it but I have a natgas boiler based steam radiator system with heat in every room and given how the winters in New England are harsher than the summers, I think I’m okay.

Sorry for the rudeness I will adjust the comment.

Bruh, a window a.c. is sold in grocery stores for under 200$.*

I was thinking more for being a permanent advertisement removal option.

I wonder what happens when the people figure out that fuses control ¾ of everything.

But we figured out that if you melt American cheese with Mexican cheese and let it harden over the Trump phone like epoxy resin, you age it with your own feces and then you smear it on the side of the Lincoln memorial and scream RUSSIA FOR Life while shoving a baguette in your ass, you know what?, I forgot where I was going with this
If she ran and won it might not be a bad thing. I don’t really want her to be president but she has 10 years of experience in government and is genuinely for the late millennial/zillenials. She seems like she’s not gonna fuck us over.
Idk maybe if she works with Bidens old handlers she might be good.
I don’t want another republican, definitely not JD Vance. It’s supposed to be Gavin vs JD but if AOC is on the ballot, she will most likely win due to her age and the state of the country.

Installing one imo would be a fiber optic fixed pathway

☝🏻 Modern NBC Honeywell filters aren’t cheap. I know, I looked into modifying a surplus skin tight Russian gas mask, first term Trump. If I survived a nuclear blast I’d still hope to be able to breathe was the point.
Either way, it gets costly because once you open that filter, you better be ready to use it, kind of thing, meaning they start to degrade once you open one. So, it’s not the masks really that get ya, it’s the price of the filters.

Wow, that’s insane.

Nuclear war fears, Trump has three years left, ice agents are targeting citizens, AOC the yuppy poodle might run for president (I’m all for a Democrat but my fuck anyone but her!!!), contaminants in food are causing people to get sick because of a fukko on TRT thinks he knows about health, autism is still a side-show to them and ignoring science is a first, war stockpiles are plummeting because 1 of 4 of the wars going on depleted them after a nearly week long bombing campaign.
And if this was 2010, I would be making an alcoholic dad joke or a fucked your mom joke but those aren’t in fashion anymore.

If I could pray this bullshit away I would. 🐙
Just like the correlation between disease and war being basically timed out perfectly.
