If full time Walmart employees need government assistance programs to afford food and pay their rent, is it not Walmart who is leaning on government assistance?

  • I’ve seen no evidence of his reddit comments either acknowledging his tattoo as a hate symbol or victim blaming rape survivors. I have however seen people bring up a comment he made to a rape survivor which was in no way blaming her for what happened to her, instead he was trying to dispel any internal negative thoughts she might be having about her value as a person being diminished now… Seemed like a heartfelt genuine message, albeit risky. Almost like he was a dude who never expected to run for office.

I feel like we’re just taking the Blackwater bit and extrapolating that he has to be a bad person for life now and reading between all the other lines to secure that conclusion. I don’t buy it.

  • While both sides are full of shit, this does seem more on line with Trump’s history of leaning heavily on specialist units and generally not caring about their lives if it’s politically convenient. I firmly believe if Iran hadn’t spilled the beans on the missing pilot there wouldn’t have been a mission to rescue, but also for any soldiers lost on the mission(s) I find it hard to believe it’s going to help their families feel better about their crew’s deaths to rescue one pilot.

Trump’s history of using navy seals for example constantly is very well documented. Many elite units have been put into unnecessary danger for political wins. There’s a reason Obama didn’t lose 250 seals killing Osama and it’s a modicum of respect for the lives of the soldiers and so a demand for better intelligence.
