Damn, made this joke too late
Damn, made this joke too late
Won’t someone rid us of this meddlesome priest vice president
No, see, he has a bunch of kids, so maybe he’s proposing she adopt one of them.
That’s better, right???
Ostensibly his supporters do
“It’s just a fact of life” he says in only country where this happens regularly
Now he is behind Trump
Always has been
The worst timeline
Maybe it’s just naivety, but I still hope for a world where people hear him speak, he gets appropriately ridiculed for the bullshit he says, and people stop trying to follow him. If there’s any shred of a chance that that’s still possible, I think it’d be better that he shows.
Probably simply that they are done with it (mono specifically, and possibly .net framework in the long run)
For various definitions of “better”
I don’t think this would necessarily be playing to his strengths, look at how effective the “weird” narrative has been.
Also, almost no one that would vote for Trump is doing so on policy. Sure, she needs to talk some policy to keep moderates (and actual leftists) engaged, but I think there’s some need to mock him and his movement.
To make a bit of an analogy, look at how Gamergate actually ended; it wasn’t from crossing any bridge that went too far, or convincing people they were enabling harassment, it ended when Steven Colbert made fun of the movement on his show, and then that got mainstream attention.
I’m not sure I follow;
If his goal was to pull voters away from Kamala, why would he endorse her?
Maybe, but every time he speaks it’s all conspiracy theory shit: anti-vax, etc.
The fact the GOP backed him thinking he’d pull voters from Democrats shows just how out of touch the GOP has gotten
I think it’d be hard to look at the current state of things and think he made a mistake. At least he seems willing enough to get along.
I’ve no shortage of criticism for the man and his actions, but this one I can applaud.
And it’s not like he delivered flawlessly, he still has at least one part where he seemed to get lost, and the crowd covered for him.
Did have real mixed feelings about the “Thank You Joe” chant. It was kind of wholesome in a way, but I imagine it feels bad to have been pushed out like he was.
No, but its a convenient bogeyman for people who believe that the German party calling themselves “National Socialists” means that party was an example of actual socialism
Probably because current contacts aren’t over yet.
I definitely won’t go into it in details for obvious reasons, it’s mostly management failing to negotiate in good faith, just trying to say while I’ve plenty of personal reason to have beef with him, but really appreciate what he has to say
Lol, there’s no way in hell your decision on how to vote was ever going to be swayed by the civility of Lemmy comments
