I really hope that Democrats are starting to realize that corporate captured performance artists like Gavin Newsom are why we have been lurching rightward into fascism for 40+ years.
So there are two possible interpretations for why the Democrats are so stubbornly useless:

You can’t get a man to understand something when his salary depends on not understanding it.
Either way there’s no “realizing” anything.
Eh, early in his term he did a bunch of good stuff, it’s just rightly overshadowed by the bad stuff.
Yeah but neither do you (at least the power bit), which means he succeeded at his job.

My point is: Anyone who’s going to enter the “Obama is a war criminal” fight on the side of Obama can fuck off. Besides being morally reprehensible, those people are a liability anyway. These are your Schumers and Hillaries, and their inclusion does nothing but hold back progress.
If you want Republicans to win: insult the DNC
Sure, fuck the DNC and this is why.
DNC have had 48 or often less seats for over 10 years.
And is that because they’re terrible at winning or because they don’t want to win? Take your pick. Either way they need to go.
The last time the DNC had a real majority, not even a supermajority, was the most productive congress in decades.
And they used that opportunity to pass checks notes Romneycare. So productive.
Dems have spent decades taxing corporations and limiting their ability to influence politics and they get no credit for that endless uphill battle.
If they’ve spent decades fighting that “battle” and this is the result, maybe they’re not actually fighting at all.
Anyone defending Obama’s own warcriming can fuck off to the other side of the sun, so sure.
Same reason Obama and Biden weren’t. American law doesn’t punish people that powerful.
I’ve been saying that the whole investigation thing is a nothing burger because to credibly go after Trump Democrats would also have to go after Obama.
I don’t expect Jefferies to, because he isn’t a Democrat, he’s a a Republican with a D next to his name.
By that standard I suspect you’ll run out of real Democrats pretty fast. The Democratic Party leadership is made up mostly of Jeffries and Schumers.

If Chuck Schumer were replaced last election, what would have changed?
We’d have had one fewer senator organizing the Dem capitulation caucus. We’d have also had one fewer senator capitulating to Trump in March. Maybe, just maybe, someone willing to fucking do anything about Trump would’ve been in office. Also if he was replaced in, say, 2019 there would have been one fewer pro-genocide reactionary voting to give Israel everything it wants.

*Delayed. It would’ve been delayed, just as it was in 2020, because that’s the thing: Democrats don’t fucking do anything. Their favorite excuse is the filibuster, but they can just get rid of it. It’s literally that simple. Whether this is incompetence or malice (though it’s obviously the latter), the Democratic establishment needs to go before anything resembling progress can happen. You’ll never get fewer Republicans if their competition is Joe “nothing will fundamentally change” Biden or Kamala “most lethal army in the world” Harris. Trump is the result of 50 years of Democrats gargling corporate balls is Trump, and you’ll never get rid of Trump if you don’t do something about the corporate balls.

No no, the dichotomy is between liberals and conservatives here. The system has done such a good job hiding leftwing politics from people that save for a few aberrations (i.e. Mamdani) they’re just not something people think about.

Yeah, but you’d be a lot less likely to believe the psycho has your best interests in mind. Now to be clear we’re dealing with trends here; plenty of women do in fact believe the psycho has their best interests in mind, and plenty of men don’t like the psycho even if they’re not the primary target, but the threat of being killed or locked up in a basement means you have to be more desperate (or more gullible) to believe the psycho’s words if you’re a woman. Also, for people who aren’t literally in danger of becoming homeless pride would be expected to have more effect, which will disproportionately affect men.
How is any of that exclusive to men?
Not the other person, but my guess is that women have a lot more to immediately fear from the right and/or “gain” from liberals so it makes sense for them to stick with the center. Meanwhile men tend to place more value on their ability to (and be expected to) provide for themselves and their current or future families, so they care more about costs of living. Basically women are too busy running away from the psycho trying to kill them, while men have enough room to stop and say “doesn’t my life kinda suck.”
Yeah that’s the thing about capitalists: They come as a package with fascists.
