I think the Justice Dems (AOC, Corey Bush, Illhan Omar, Bernie Sanders, and the like) are doing a fantastic job.

I dunno. Compared to every other president we’ve had since Kennedy, he’s about the best we’ve ever had for about a generation. I mean, he did get Osama. I mean, yeah, he wasn’t a “get us to the moon” or a “defeating Hitler” president, but he was good for what he accomplished. Yeah, ObamaCare should have been better, but compare it with the market beforehand: hhhuuugggeee Medicaid expansion, coverage for pre-existing conditions, and a simple, easy-to-use market. It could have been Medicare for All, yes. But Republicans, Big Donors, and the corporate Dems would never have allowed it.

I tried calling my rep. Automatically forwarded straight to a full mailbox. I’m not a major donor, so I guess I can just shout into the void.

Honestly, I’m surprised we haven’t seen someone put on a suicide vest to take out ICE/Republicans. Maybe they have a terminal illness and want to some good on their way out. That’s honesly the most stunning thing about today.

The spoiled generation took the greatest wealth ever seen, became spoiled by it, sqandered it, and left X, Millennials, Zoomers, and Alpha holding the bag (climate change, broken empire, insurmountable debt, political instability, unstable social safety net, etc.). They will not be missed.

Well, the rules of professional conduct, which all attorneys are bound by, make it very clear what the client gets to decide versus what the attorney gets to decide. Essentially, the client gets to decide what the best conclusion is while the attorney decides the best means to get there (or, as close as can be) via the legal apparatus such that the other rules of professional conduct aren’t violated. Basically, the client pulls the trigger, the attorney furnishes the gun and aims it as best as can be for the client.

So, when there’s no guidance or direction, they’re saying the political establishment isn’t giving guidance on what the end result looks like. So, the attorney can’t proceed.
