I’d say a fictional story about slaves successfully rebelling and taking over a country, narrated by a scientist, who does science things, counts.

It is ridiculous how much hair-splitting is done when it’s Black culture, and I’m quite embarrassed by the attempt to claim entire wikipedia sections are ‘wrong’ like this.

So the title of the article posted is: Trump appointed Walz to serve on the Council of Governors in 2019

So just so I’m clear; Trump attacks this guys credibility, but also specifically chose him for to serve on a Council. Then this article is posted. Then, someone says it isn’t politics.

What are the chances, do you think, that this person genuinely believes that isn’t a worthwhile story, versus, are they pro (Trump) and trying to downplay the significance?

The Nazi’s were always dumb. Their economy was heavily based on stealing from the people they killed, and invading countries. It’s quite literally the shortest term planning in history. They invaded what, a dozen countries in six years? (Including their former ally Italy.)

I’ve yet to see a good political discussion in this sub, all i see is news about red and blue and the names of the candidates well visible on the front page

I think my favourite part of this is that, of all the things Republicans have called people, all the racist terms, all the gay-bashing, anti-trans, misogynist, ablist bullshit terms they’ve used, they’re freaking out over the ‘epithet’ weird.

Dude I thought America would never elect anyone but old white men but they elected Barack Obama. I’m pretty sure Pete’s being gay is less of a problem for the right than a smart black man as the literal president.

I’m no expert, but as of this moment I don’t think he’ll go into the election while trailing. I think he’ll make up an excuse to drop out (liberal elite crossing guards, crooked something, the weather is woke, whatever), and from there he’ll do his original plan to get more right wingers on board to buy his crap while he dodges lawsuits.

I think it’s also he can’t stand to lose now. He was fine the first time, it was to launch his brand. Now it would be an insult to him, so he’d rather quit than lose.
