4·1 month agoThe ceasefire Republicans are hoping will save them is very unlikely to outlive the week, it’s almost impossible it’s going to last the two weeks Trump is desperately hoping for. Israel isn’t taking any notice of it and JD Vance is trying to convince everyone that Lebanon wasn’t part of the agreement when it was clearly stated by Iran that it was if the US wanted a ceasefire.

32·2 months agoThis has nothing to do with Brexit. And I’m struggling to find anything in my daily life where Brexit has had a negative effect. Strangely enough when I ask people how it’s affecting their daily life nobody seems to actually come up with an example that has anything to do with Brexit. The most common one is having to use passports to travel to the EU but we always had to do that because the UK wasn’t part of Schengen and I can only assume those who bring up that example have never ever left the UK.

4235·2 months agoFUCK THERE IS A WHOLE LOT OF STUPID USING LINUX. Lots of tin foil hat wearing morons making mountains out of molehills. There was no age verification support added. All that happened is a DOB field was put in so people can add their date of birth IF THEY CHOOSE TO so it can appear in their user account. It isn’t uploaded to anyone, it’s not checked by anyone, it is not mandatory to complete and you can leave the field blank.

3·2 months agoRunning MicroWin de-bloated Windows 11 and also in Europe so Edge is uninstallable I am completely unaffected by this.

It’s a torture for seldom used Linux PCs as well. In short any PC that isn’t updated for a long period of time is going to spend a long period of time updating with the possibility of breaking things.
