That counts as winning
You make good points, but I still think nothing good can come of playing ball with Facebook. I dont trust them

I was curious about the claims about Eno so I Googled a bit. Eno actually is responsible for a lot of these ideas being put in use, if not inventing them himself. He basically pioneered the concept of standardized traffic rules.
As for the stop sign, Eno proposed the idea in 1900:
Harry Jackson created his octagonal sign 14 years later, in 1914:
The invention of the roundabout is a bit more complicated. Circular intersections of some kind predated Eno, but they wouldn’t all be considered roundabouts by our definition today.
K nevermind then
That’s not a legal scholar. This clause in the constitution says it’s treason to “levy war” against the US, which one would imagine includes a large group of armed people storming the Capitol, regardless if the country is currently “at war”.
I’m curious about the idea that “legal scholars agree” that the country itself must already be at war, unless that’s not what you meant?
Do you have a source on that?
Keeping an eye on Harris’ stance on the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza, Sanders made sure to bring that up, saying, “I think, in all fairness to the vice president, she’s been the candidate for all of one month. And it’s been a hell of a month. You have to organize the convention, select a vice presidential campaign, get out on the campaign trail. So, they are still working through their policies.”
This doesn’t take into account that it’s a swing state
I disagree. Yes, Cheney and Rumsfeld et al. played their part and enriched themselves by driving the country to war, but Bush was in charge and part of it all, not a puppet. He’s dumb in many senses but still evil. And Trump golfed more than Bush and I wouldn’t excuse his culpability in any of his admins actions because of that. He made those calls.
Many of us did. But it was an unprecedented time for America, we were vulnerable and manipulable as a populace.
You’re cool, man. I’m just saying we shouldn’t give him a pass.
I hate to see people excusing him and blaming it all on Cheney as if he was just a buffoon caught in the flow. He knew what he was doing.
Bush and his admin lied to the American people. We were misled into supporting his war, our grief was taken advantage of.
This part is true. I think he just had a lot of charisma with it overall. Also, we had Bush Jr to compare him to, which makes anyone competent sound like a genius.
They don’t make those anymore, I think
He just kept talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence, moving from topic to topic, so that no one had the chance to interrupt, it was really quite hypnotic.
Thanks for the clarification. I meant “in cold blood” in the sense of “premeditated and intentional”, but I’ll remove it to be clear.
It’s slang
