He said Trump wasn’t either a billionaire, celebrity, or both., could be any one of the options really. Someone should ask him to clarify so he can stick his foot in his mouth again.

Kinda reminds me of an alien in The Last Starfighter.
Cause as DPS it’s harder to find a group.
He just tried to call something weird in the article, so most recent time was then. Though, even if I can’t recall specifics, I’m sure he’s done it many times when his brain runs out of new insults.
He punches down in his ‘jokes’, and laughs at other people’s misery rather than when it’s in good humour. How anyone can vote for a politician that can’t laugh at themselves let alone a good joke is a mystery to me.
Isn’t it weird the Republican nominees don’t laugh like most people?I haven’t watched much of Vance to notice this but since they’re ragging on Harris for laughing I bet that’s a big bullet point to avoid when he’s in public.
As a neighbor to the US the amount of votes he receives is terrifying, I thought the general public was better but learned soon after COVID it was not. No need to worry about your fellow man if he’s dead after all right? Like even if a party wanted to do most of his platform cough heritage foundation it’d at least be more palatable (to understand) than them wanting to vote in someone who wants to loot their treasury and just avoid jail…unless they’re all criminals…huh.
According to Wikipedia a candidate needs 270 electoral votes to win, if no one gets 270 votes then it goes to the other vote. All I’m saying is one avenue I’ve read about is they are trying to have enough people in place to ensure the Democratic candidate can’t get the electoral votes to win to force the house to vote by not certifying their states’s results.
I’m not saying it’s likely or possible, that’s beyond my knowledge of the process so I really have no clue, but that’s slightly different than the VP not certifying the votes though it’s the same end result.
I thought states needed to certify before it got to Congress? This would be not sending any results period so the VP isn’t involved yet. Least that’s my understanding.
I think one idea this time is to have enough states not certify the results to force a vote for president where each state gets a single vote. Since there are more Republican states they vote in Trump. Not sure what safeguards there are against states that decide not to certify even if they don’t have proof, or what role courts play in that scenario.
He hasn’t changed strategies since his 20s I bet. When you’re rich and everything just takes some money to sort out you don’t need to adjust, change is hard in later years. Plus you can see Roy Cohn stamped on him like Roger Stone, all they know how to do is attack but not produce anything. That was half of the Stone documentary on Netflix it seemed.
He’s a President like Zaphoid Beeblebrox was president in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Trump keeps the attention on him (great for a narcissist) and other people do things and make the real decisions. I don’t want to make light of it, but I really think that’s what’s happening here. The 2025 people are just waiting to push their their stuff through while their candidate doesn’t care as long as he is cheered for and has less legal troubles. He’s only upset because it showed negative in the polls, he doesn’t care otherwise about the thing.
Like during early COVID Trump was asked what he wants to say to Americans that were scared, he replied that the reporter was nasty or something similar. He can’t handle any questions that are outside of his line of thinking.
Everyone knows he lies like most people breath anyways. His only position is whatever gets people to cheer and clap for him so he gets his narcissistic fix, or the last person to talk to him that stroked his ego the right way. The people who will actually to do stuff in his administration definitely want 2025, and that’s what matters. I’m only a neighbor of the US but a country that implements 2025 is a scary one to be next to.
It could be but if a candidate is that disasterous to being voted in then I’m sure they’d have heard about that candidate too. In the long run it’d probably have people more informed before they vote since they’ll have to do it.
Exactly then it’s all very cool and very legal thanks to the US supreme court. Honestly it’s my official duty to collect unnamed sums of cash for favours, how else can a poor President of the most powerful nation on Earth ever survive?
Let’s throw in a 3rd term allowance too since he was so persecuted in his first heh. I’d say allow him to rob the treasury too but he’ll do that anyways if he’s elected.
Also yes I know about project 2025, so there’s a chance he gets that in some form anyways. After all, a president can do whatever he wants if the heritage foundation says it’s official duties…sorry the Supreme Court.
Also doesn’t that open up to vouchers for Christian schools, which of course is a big bonus. I’m not from the States so fuzzy on how that side works exactly.
Edit,I do mean a bonus for the fanatical right that wants a Christian state, not a bonus for freedom.
He could have been an okay President…if he was an entirely different person. Even if he did what you said he still hijacked ppe from states, answered softball questions like ‘what would you tell the American people who are scared?’ by telling the reporter he was nasty. The question and reply are probably off but should be similar enough. Pretty sure he was upset Faucci was getting more attention for awhile since Trump can never be wrong and Faucci wanted to tell the truth. I don’t think it’s possible for Trump to have come off as even okay is all.
Like the opposite of the Key and Peele skits with Obama’s translator.
