is it still spying if everyone knows theyre doing it?
is it still spying if everyone knows theyre doing it?
solar panels on earth could reduce it 100%
figured id add it here since no one is talking about it but may be interested.
i bought the fairbuds recently and had them shipped to my county because im tired of having non replaceable batteries in my ears. and they have replaceable battries!
but that being said, you can not watch video with those headphones because the bluetooth type is too old, so i only use them for music…but for that price…bro. how?
but the worst part is, the battery they use while it looks like a cell battery is proprietary!? so if the company fails, so do my fairbuds. and yeah, i could buy a bunch and stock up, but batteries have use by dates as far as im aware.
i just cant believe nearly every bit of tech doesn’t have replaceable batteries. headphones, mics etc. and no one is talking about it in popular reviews.
i feel like this is more of an inevitability. at one point we are going to be looking at law. and how absurd it is and how ita being broken by actual governments and big tech and be like you know what…fuck it. we ball. and suddenly we are the wild west again where no one gives a shit what the big man says because he is full of shit. and we just do whatever the fuck we want. sadly, i suspect guns are gonna play a big part on both sides.
all praise the autofill
With the amount of money pouring in you’d think they’d just pay for it
ah ha! Guess that’s how we beat the system. People would need to sub to your instance though for you to post content right?
What would the pros and cons be?
Imagine if Spotify just opened the camera on your phone once a month when you first open the app that day. Just for like a split second. Theoretically it would be legal, for age verification. 🤮
Ah the laziness to not even set up an account that needs it. I didn’t consider that. Was more thinking of current users meeting the resistance.
Hey Angus, why is Hettie on fire?
Oh she just walked past Bessie.
Best to give Bessie a wide birth ey Angus.
That’s right Maggie, when you see Bessie coming you better MOOOOOOve over.
Oh nice one Angus.
Thanks maggs that’s why they call me the cow-median.
Lemmy will be pressured into age verification also and most hosts will crumble. $50M per caught infraction is wild.
We gonna end up going back to libraries. Which actually would be cool as fuck. Like Yentl when all those dudes are hanging out in a big ass room talking philosophy. It’ll re-spark the postal service. Live music will thrive. Coz everyone will be like fuck the internet, we’ll do it live.
While I want to agree. I feel like normal people are still not gonna give a shit.
Oh like a custom yellowpages, sick!
Thanks will do!
Im at the level where I don’t know what SSO means. I can follow instructions to change a DNS. But what a DNS actually is I don’t know. Which is fine, until I need to work out what’s broken
Thanks. Yeah I’m just trying to work at it slowly in my downtime instead of just watching YouTube all night.
I wanna get into it but man, the mountain of knowledge I need to even understand what people are talking about is hard to climb. I’m trying to just get some stuff running in docker and it fails to launch and I’m like… How?! Isn’t that the whole point of docker lol. Baby steps I guess
Is it true that newer pixels have RAM dedicated to AI? And even if I turn of Gemini and delete the app I still won’t able to use that RAM?
Is it counted within the usual 8-12gigs or is it seperate?
Just trying to find out incase I buy one for graphineOS
They gonna use stills from creator made videos to… Stop people watching videos on YouTube? The hell are they thinking?
so much fluff in their findings. makes me think, they didnt research shit. this is gonna be terribly implemented.
their attempt wont be the end of the free web. but people will leave because they dont want their data breached by yet another bad actor. its just making the web more dangerous instead of safer.
no one has the tech and security to handle this. its waaaay too early. the breaches are going to substantial and continuous.
good luck Australia. stay safe.
