Cool anecdote. Every time we actually see real data, though, the numbers don’t reflect much in the way of productivity gains or increased efficiency or better output. People say that LLMs are useful because it feels useful, but we aren’t seeing actual usefulness. The most recent study out of Duke University observes “a productivity paradox, in which perceived productivity gains are larger than measured productivity gains, likely reflecting a delay in revenue realizations.”

A delay. Sure.

Robots aren’t like software, it’s immediately obvious when they don’t work the way they’re advertised whereas chatbots can trick people into thinking they’re way more useful than they actually are. The “fake it till you make it” “move fast and break things” ethos of tech doesn’t work when there’s actual, physical evidence that shit’s busted.

Well. They think they’re white. Whiteness isn’t just something someone can identify as, it’s a condition imposed by white supremacy and it’s contingent on the political moment. A lot of leopards-eating-faces moments come when they find out that their whiteness in Colombia is non-transferable to whiteness in the US. If the white supremacists decide having English as a second language or having a dark-skinned grandparent makes someone non-white then their skin color won’t actually protect them.

Courts generally agree that a reasonable person could believe claims made in official promotional material. That’s why it’s not legal to outright lie in marketing and they need to go through so much trouble to properly word their statements so that they’re technically true. In this case, they’re just lying. They’re saying the AI is safe to use for these tasks and it is not.

I covered this in my other replies, but there’s two elements at play.

The first is that unequal access to food will create resentment, as poor people are forced to cut back or seek alternatives while rich people are unaffected. Resentment leads to resistance, and before you know it you have food riots. People will fight back, and maybe violently, which leads to the second element: high food prices are one of the major causes for government collapse.

Messing with access to food is the best way to get people to revolt, but in the absence of a revolutionary movement they’re just going to listen to whichever charismatic leader blames the (((NWO globalist agenda))) for taking away meat and uses the nostalgia of “LOOK AT WHAT THEY TOOK FROM YOU” to whip people into a violent frenzy. If you take away their meat, they’ll eat you.

Price controls and rent controls can also be accompanied by state intervention in the supply side, to prevent shortages. High prices are effectively a ban on the poor having access, and besides, markets are so 20th century. We have the computing power now to entirely replace them with central planning. Let’s use those data centers for something important, instead of generating slop.
