The story is really good so far have beaten 1/3 guys to get the things (trying to not spoil for those who know nothing). I have been having a blast. Only crashed after a hotfix then a second one came out and fixed it as far as I can tell.

The specs required make no sense though it doesn’t look that much better than 3.

I’m becoming more and more convinced it is the engine honestly. It is probably harder to optimize and devs not having enough time to do so if I had to guess.

Because it’s fun and it’s the only game series me and my dad still play together.

I highly recommend it. I daily crust because I don’t mind if something breaks and I figure it’s probably useful having a few people consistently using it so they can alert devs if something is fucked.

I’m keeping this because I really do feel like “techie” people forget that tech shit shit like back ups are a chore that 99% of people would rather not deal with.

Probably once they can stand on their own merits and make a profit. So never in the case of AI companies.

3 has a bad story even if you aren’t a fan of 2. It’s peak middle aged men writing humor that the think teenagers would like. Gameplay is best in the series by far though. (Excluding 4 which I haven’t played yet).

As an american it is in fact a shithole even if the area I live in is (IMO) the most beautiful area on earth. And the politics of this area are good so I probably won’t be sent to a concentration camp until the federal government starts taking over states at least.

You basically have to be a developer and marketer to have even a chance of success in the current market and even then you could be the best at both and simply not have the luck to go viral and only get a few hundred sales. So much of indie game selling is creating things that can go viral now hence the absolute proliferation of “freind slop” games because it’s so easy for moments between two popular funny content creators to go viral.

I think the AI bubble is really close to poping. If they can’t make a profit on it in the next 2 years (maybe sooner with how badly the economy is about to start doing) VC money will dry up and then they will have to up prices dramatically.

There’s a lot of factors I could get into but it seems like they are going to have to start pricing AI use at the very least cost soon.

They can even scrape likes/dislikes and make profiles for people that don’t comment.

Fucking source‽ Yes companies do scummy shit with IP all the time but no companies are not reprinting books without paying authors unless there is some crazy contract bullshit.

So what should be done so that authors and inventors are fairly compensated under our current economic system? I am not in support of capitalism to be clear but we are stuck with it for the foreseeable future and I don’t want small authors to have large companies just steal their books and reprint them.
