Hasan Piker has a great tweet about this
What’s MGTOW? Why do women hate it?
Edit: Oh…
Men Going Their Own Way (MGTOW) is an anti-feminist, misogynistic, mostly online community advocating for men to separate themselves from women and society, which they believe has been corrupted by feminism. The community is a part of the manosphere, a collection of anti-feminist websites and online communities that also includes the men’s rights movement, incels, and pickup artists.

It’s much cheaper for you to buy a disk PS5 and install an M.2SSD yourself (up to 8TB), it’s incredibly easy, and Sony has a page/videos on how to do it yourself.
I’ve seen disk PS5 go on sale as low as $400USD at big box retailers, presumably to make shelf space for the pros. The used marketplace is there as well.
It might be because I’m drunk, but Trump-posting from “lemmy.packitsolutions.net” is genuinely hilarious. It’s giving Four Seasons Total Landscaping.
Thank you for this, it will make a fine addition to the “response to the groupchat yapper” folder.
It clearly isn’t lower risk considering the state of polarized politics in America and other western powers after the advent of Cambridge Analytica (which Facebook barely faced any consequences for btw).
Tiktok is a boogeyman, and Meta, Twitter, Google, whatever other social FAANG-adjacent platform you use, wants you to focus on them so that they can keep milking you for your data, while simultaneously feeding you ads and radicalizing political content directly targeted to you.
So I reiterate, we need better data protection and regulation laws for ALL social media.
It is political, because Meta does the exact same thing you have quoted, and they aren’t getting banned.
We need stronger data protection laws, period.
Would it be? I feel like his supporters would take it as a sign that they can also openly use it without consequences.
Didn’t they say they removed it because there were homophobic comments under a popular BL anime? A situation that could have easily be solved with a moderation system (which I know they had because they removed comments with external links).
I guess they didn’t want to ban bigots with subscriptions.

Come to the ARAM/TFT retirement home, it’s where the chill people are.
Ah, you’re right in that co-op’s are more direct contributions.
My equvilancy was coming from the fact that I was thinking of the taxpaying base as the “members” of the co-op, and the redistribution of profits of it’s members as the social services. I mean you vote for the board of a co-op too so…technically…the co-op model could work here.
…isn’t that just a co-op grocery store with extra steps?
I agree though, we should incentivize having food co-ops in every state.
Listen, not to generalize a large group of people… but Irish-Americans are a strange bunch. The mix of Catholic guilt and American exceptionalism I have experienced in that demographic of my friends/classmates is definitely something I think about more than I probably should.
Sorry if I was unclear, I meant that you should be voting down ballot for people that are vocal about putting pressure on the higher ups, or have the power to put in local reforms that have cascading effects to a wider state/national level. Your state representatives, your municipal councils of government, your schoolboard representatives, a lot of places have those elections tied to presidential elections, and low voter turn out hurts a LOT because those are less gerrymandered and more likely to swing progressive if more people turn out to vote.
Many people think that voting for the “right” presidential candidate is how things change, but there is just too much money concentrated at the top for it to ever happen post-Jimmy Carter. They will always more likely be milquetoast centrists to outright fascists, depending on the party.
Of course this is all my opinion.
Biden is a self-admitted Zionist, isn’t he? It’s not a pejorative to him, or any establishment politician. It’s ironic considering Ireland and the Irish people have been vocally calling it a genocide since the beginning.
Still, there are more proponents of a ceasefire on the Dem’s side than the Rep’s, especially down ballot. If the Dem’s capture both House and Senate, there might be enough noise to actually pressure towards a ceasefire. Go vote.
I love that there are so many options for nuSocial tbh. Federation rocks.
Yep, that’s what everyone I know with Apple devices have always done. I used to have a Nexus 7 (rip) and an iPhone, and the prices on the App store were always higher than the prices on Android Market (rip).
I’m wondering why it’s being pointed out now by everyone, but I’m not gonna complain if it leads to some sort of price parity regulation across platforms.
Ooh, you may be right. I also don’t have that set up.
