Yeah… I have tried LLMs, and they have horrible hallucinations. For instance, when I tried to “teach” one about Hit Selecting in Minecraft, I used an example of a player that uses it (EREEN), it kept corrupting it to EREEEN. Even when I clarified, it kept doing it, forever.

You do need to change the system, but you can keep the President, reduce the President’s powers, and have a prime-minister to take care of many areas.

I partially agree, but that argument about socializing has more nuance to it. At least in my experience, such socializing did not happen in schools, but instead in coffee shops (again, my experience may be different from everyone else’s), where I had meaningful debates with adults. Instead, I actively avoided conversations with my peers, particularly because I had nothing in common with them.

I actually agree with you, especially in the last sentence. Knowing the Cambridge Analytica Scandal, governments are definitely willing to manipulate children through control of information.

Prohibition never works; people will always find other bad — maybe even worse — things to do. The human pressure to have social interactions may lead to creating terrible IRL friendships, ones that can be much more dangerous.

Instead, I would strongly advise for honest, mature conversations about the risks that social media comes along with. This can lead to a highly positive impact, especially if you teach how to observe interactions between people through social media, even if not interacting, yourself.
