Based on the pic, has he started dipping into the bronzer?
Trump: “JD the reason people don’t like you is you’re too pale. Try this.”

Inviter of women into the men’s room
I suspect he’s even more popular among sex offenders, but they don’t get polled specifically.
It’s a helluva drug
Same. I’m quitting tomorrow.
What could go wrong when you have a law on the books like that is the people in power will enforce it based on their concept of truth, not yours. The libel laws are the way they are currently because lawmakers and courts have, so far, chosen to err on the side of encouraging speech. Letting anyone say anything they want about politicians is probably better than limiting political speech, because, in the wrong hands, limits on political speech can be very dangerous.
Then there’s the classic “you can’t shout fire in a crowded theater if there is no fire” example. Maybe that could apply to knowing purveyors of disinformation, but you’d have to prove that they know what they are saying is false, and they intend harm. That’s a very high burden of proof, but if you can prove both of those then there’s a case for fraud.
She was probably a lovely person before she got addicted to power. It happens very gradually.
Too much drankin’
This phenomenon is known as “phantom soul”. It’s when sometimes you still feel your soul, even though you had it amputated for political gain years ago.
I think the secret is it’s just one word that everyone knows. Democrats have a bad tendency to over-explain: “This book makes these 57 points and if you cross reference with these charts and apply this formula you’ll see….” Meanwhile, Trump will just say “what a loser.” Maybe Democrats are finally learning to keep it simple.
Yes people should want to make informed decisions, but maybe part of effective campaigning these days is accepting they don’t.
And I don’t mean to denigrate data science. It is important and powerful. And real machine intelligence may one day emerge from it (or data science may one day point the way). But data science just isn’t AI.
This is because the AI of today is a shit sandwich that we’re being told is peanut butter and jelly.
For those who like to party: All the current “AI” technologies use statistics to approximate semantics. They can’t just be semantic, because we don’t know how meaning works or what gives rise to it. So the public is put off because they have an intuitive sense of the ruse.
As long as the mechanics of meaning remain a mystery, “AI” will be parlor tricks.
Republicans hate this one weird trick.
Yeah, yeah we know. She’s a girl. She has an innie instead of an outie. Misogyny is the stupidest thing that has ever been.
JD Vance wants to use the levers of the federal government to compel people to have children. How libertarian!
