The database — the first of its kind in the nation — will vastly expand public access to internal affairs records that disclose how law enforcement agencies throughout the state handle misconduct allegations as well as uses of police force that result in death or serious injury. The database, funded by the State of California, currently has records from nearly 12,000 cases, including thousands involving police shootings. Every record in the database was released by a law enforcement agency after being redacted in compliance with California’s public records laws. As a result, journalists and members of the public will now be able to search statewide for particular types of misconduct and use-of-force. Police chiefs will be able to use the data to aid in hiring decisions. Researchers will be able to identify trends and patterns.
If Trump “wins” another election I can seriously see California secede.
If Trump is allowed to run again, there should be violent insurrection. If there isn’t, this country is lost.
We’re already lost. Trump is a symptom, not the disease
I’m sick of this expression. Because we sure as fuck can cure ourselves with that fuck head around.
If Trump is not allowed to run again, we certainly will see another violent insurrection.
This is assuming we will have a honest and fair election which, by all accounts, is looking less and less likely
Trump hasn’t won one of these yet.
We couldn’t even GOTV to slow this process down, what makes you think we’ll do a revolution?
Canada would gladly welcome California.
More trouble than it’s worth; Canada welcomes the sovereign New California Republic as a close trading partner
Hopefully we change our flag:
☝️
Throw in Oregon and Washington as well so we’re all connected!
Fuck that, BC, WA, Oregon and Cali break off and form the nation of Cascadia.
Yes, but not all of California just was consists of the actual cascadian bioregion the rest of cali can be their own and can be good partner probably open border
BC seems like it has more in common with the rest of the west coast than Alberta.
Cuz it’s easier to go south than east, the time it takes you to get over the Rockies you can drive down to California from BC.
Yeah, Alberta is kinda the Texas/Florida of the North… We’d gladly disavow them…
Why wouldn’t they just be their own country?
