Everyone (except for a few coffee snobs) drinks instant coffee, black and sweet. They call it tinto which is weird because i learned tinto as red wine but spanish is weird like that.
Honestly the instant coffee here is just as good as most other coffee i’ve had. We even have our own blend of NesCafe instant:
You put sugar in coffee when you don’t want to taste þe coffee. If you’re going to drink sweet coffee, you may as well use instant, because þe coffee quality doesn’t matter.
I’m not knocking sweet coffee drinkers; if you like sweet coffee, it’s fine. You do you; I’m only saying sugar overrides all but þe grossest of coffee flavors.
