        We had a supermajority for Lieberman. It does not matter how big a majority we give Democrats. They find the no votes. They capitulate.

          The “supermajority” was a 60-40 split. That’s not a true 67/33 supermajority. It’s only filibuster-proof. It also only lasted 72 days.

            You think we’re gonna get more than 60 this time? If not, We’re only gonna see who the next Manchin is.

            It’s only filibuster-proof.

            Here’s where I point out once again that Democrats could have done away with the filibuster for good at any point during which they had a simple majority. If they wanted to. They don’t want to.
