    And they’ll be uninterested in trump leading them, but they’ll still complain when it affects them. They had the power to choose and ignored it, so the fault also falls onto them.

      100%. People being disconnected don’t get a free pass. It’s an infinitesimally small number of americans who get to adulthood and actively participate in our society who don’t understand the very basic fundamentals of democracy and civics. Choosing not to take a side is still choosing a side whether they like it or not.

        It’s an infinitesimally small number of americans who get to adulthood and actively participate in our society who don’t understand the very basic fundamentals of democracy and civics.

        Sounds like it was the majority of Americans in this case, since 60% didn’t turn out.

        And just from my anecdotal experience, people are fucking dumb and they continue to surprise me day after day with just how dumb they can be.
