When is this happening? I’ve been telling my wife and kid that they need to stop using chrome for a year, but ublock is still working for them and blocking YouTube ads. They are the type that won’t switch until it becomes a problem for them.

It’s pretty basic formatting to put emphasis on specific words.
I wish I didn’t need an iPhone for work, (List of every app that is also available on Android).

That’s why I own neither of those things.
Then I guess they need to start providing the hardware for free, because if I paid for it…it’s MINE and I can do what I want with it.
Apparently from what I was reading these are forced updates from Crowdstrike, you don’t have a choice.
They’re probably just capturing SMS messages or regular calls. Which is still illegal without a warrant, but who watches the watchers? Use encrypted chats and encrypted calls if you’re worried.
I really need to do a test restore. I’ve been backing my NAS up to B2 for about a year now and haven’t done one yet.
Is there an open source PDF editor? I would really love anything other than acrobat.
I work in IT and I’ve been against the cloud for over a decade and I always got looks like I was crazy. We still have vendors pushing us to buy into the cloud, I’ll fight tooth and nail all the way. Unfortunately, a lot of vendors aren’t giving much of a choice anymore by making their services cloud only. We’ll have to start building custom applications soon to keep everything on-prem.
Same, about 2-3 times over the years. Had to start over each time because I forgot everything. Just looking at the map gave me anxiety because it was just so much. I’m an OCD completionist, so I have to do everything, visit every place, collect everything. That game was just overwhelming. Everything else about it was great though.
