A streamer I follow I think said they were worth 5x for him

If so, yes

I wonder if Lemmy can come up with something similar based on your instance activity
I love how his last name is pronounced “to share a” and he did, in abundance
USSMojave@startrek.websiteto Technology@lemmy.world•Bluesky Might End Up Defeating Twitter Once and for AllEnglish5·10 months agoI think it’s easy to understand Mastodon, or any federated service, using a metaphor for a country or large place, where you can say “I want to move to X country” but then you have to actually pick a place IN that country to live, like a specific city or rural district. Once you decide on your instance, it’s really not that hard
Congrats, you’ve been played into infighting with the only legitimate opposition to Republicans, very cool 👌
USSMojave@startrek.websiteto politics @lemmy.world•The Truth Too Many Democrats Need to HearEnglish483·10 months agoThe problem is that they have been brainwashed by 30 years of right-wing media to convince them to never believe anything Democrats say ever. We could tell them literally everything they want to hear and they would say we’re lying, or nod along and then go vote for the Republican anyway
USSMojave@startrek.websiteto politics @lemmy.world•Opinion | Voters punished Biden for problems he didn’t cause and effectively addressedEnglish23·10 months agoDems are not standing by, they just ran a whole goddamn election. That they were/are bad at that is not in question. You can be mad at them all you want for losing but don’t act like they didn’t try to warn us and do something about it
If you don’t vote for Harris it’s effectively a vote for Trump, and Trump has publicly said he would help Netanyahu finish the job. That’s the choice we are facing
It’s called being realistic about what president can do with their powers. She absolutely should encourage Congress to pass legislation as that is much more permanent and effective than executive orders
USSMojave@startrek.websiteto Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft Recall is now an explorer.exe dependencyEnglish1·11 months agoThings seem to have improved in the last 5 years, so maybe give it another shot. I’m on Fedora 40 with gnome and lots of extensions, and I’m constantly tinkering with it to make it look just right (for fun, not that I feel like I have to). Nothing catastrophic has happened yet!🤞
USSMojave@startrek.websiteto politics @lemmy.world•Democrats block pro-fracking bill in the SenateEnglish3·11 months agoDon’t let perfect be the enemy of good. The reality is that dismantling an industry so enmeshed in our economy, both nationally and locally, is HARD. People WILL be negatively impacted and it would be stupid to ignore that. Democrats have to walk a very thin tightrope to not alienate people, which is what will happen if we go as hard as we should
'Tis a shame your image left out the OG
