Maybe, but more likely is the desire to get his popular vote count higher. He’s never going to win CA, but it’s such a large state that he gets a huge amount of votes from it.
California has a lot of rural areas that are deeply red. I imagine Coachella must be one of those or he wouldn’t waste his time, right?
