Donald Trump’s team is worried that he keeps dropping out of media appearances, even friendly ones.
Donald Trump won’t stop backing out of interviews, and his forces have been left scrambling.
Trump dropped out of yet another interview on Friday, when a Trump adviser told producers of The Shade Room that Trump wouldn’t be following through on talks to appear on the podcast because he was “exhausted and refusing [some] interviews but that could change,” two people familiar with the conversation told Politico.
Kamala Harris recently appeared on The Shade Room, a culture podcast with a predominantly young, Black audience. Ahead of Trump’s cancellation, Shade Room staff felt that the campaign was dragging its feet when it came to nailing down the details, according to Politico.

My hope is that this demoralizes his supporters so they just don’t vote.

I don’t get it. Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin seem neck and neck now.
From a slight Harris lead to a tie, polls overestimate Democrat performance, and as you get closer to the election the polls get more accurate so all that together tells me Trump is actually winning unfortunately :(

I completely agree. I think his mental decline has been significant. I don’t really think he’s been as public as he normally is and when he is, he is extra weird.

They’re not panicking about anything. They know the more they keep him out of the spotlight, the better he does. Americans need to be constantly reminded how stupid and unhinged he is or they start forgetting.
remember that before Harris started her media tour they kept saying she doesn’t answer questions and she’s afraid of interviews. and now he takes 2 questions, switches to a ridiculous concert and cancels all other interviews.

He is not worried about anything, he’s not even campaigning that much. He’s 100% relying on the fact that he’s going to call it a “rigged elections” anyway and create chaos, because we have people in this country who still believe this dude cares about them or the country.

It’s possible as well, that people are also refusing to work with him sometimes too now.
Don’t forget, he did also just recently threaten to sue everyone working for one of his rallies because his mic cut off and said he won’t pay the contractors.
So, unless he’s willing to sign liability waivers, there’s plenty of reason to no longer want to interview him. And there is even less reason for any audio engineers and such to be in any way involved with any of his interviews or anything else (because if something goes wrong, he could go mafiaesque on them, and name them so their family is at risk).
